Privacy Policy

Litmex Wallet is designed to minimise data collection while providing a secure and reliable experience. This page explains what information is involved when you use the Litmex website and wallet.

Last updated: 31 July 2026

1. Self-custody and your keys

Litmex Wallet is self-custodial. Your private keys and recovery phrase are generated and stored on your device under your control.

Litmex does not collect, transmit, store or have any ability to access, restore or recover your private keys or recovery phrase.

2. Information we may process

Website analytics such as aggregated page views, device type and approximate region, used only to understand traffic and improve the site.

Information you voluntarily provide, for example when you contact us or join an early-access list for the Litmex Crypto Card.

Basic technical data required to deliver the service, such as IP address at the time of a request, handled by our hosting and infrastructure providers.

3. Blockchain data

Transactions you broadcast are recorded on public blockchain networks. That data is public, permanent and outside the control of Litmex.

Balances and history shown in the wallet are read from public network data and third-party node or indexing providers.

4. How information is used

To operate, maintain and improve the wallet and website, to respond to enquiries, and to protect against abuse, fraud and security threats.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data to build advertising profiles.

5. Service providers

We rely on infrastructure partners for hosting, analytics and blockchain connectivity. These providers process limited technical data on our behalf under their own terms.

The Litmex Crypto Card is under development. If and when it launches, card services will involve regulated issuing partners with their own identity verification and privacy requirements, which will be disclosed before you sign up.

6. Retention and security

Any information we hold is retained only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by applicable law.

We apply encryption in transit, restricted internal access and ongoing security improvements. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices

You can use the wallet without providing an account, email address or identity documents.

Where applicable law gives you rights over personal information — such as access, correction or deletion — you can contact us to exercise them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.

Questions about this page? Litmex Wallet is self-custodial — you alone control your private keys and recovery phrase, and Litmex cannot access, restore or recover them.
